Reiki
What is Reiki? (pronounced Ray-key)
Reiki works through direct interaction with the life force. It was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan in the early 20th century. Reiki means "Universal Life Force Energy." It is a simple methodology in which the practitioner channels healing energy, focusing on the seven chakras.
When the vital life force is restricted, a person is more vulnerable to pain, illnesses, and chronic disease. When the vital life force is high, and flowing freely, a person is more likely to be healthy and happy. Reiki helps increase a person's vital life force.

What is a session like? In my Reiki practice I use my hands to channel Love and Light to a person. I serve as a quiet, peaceful channel for the energy. People report feeling a sense of peace, relaxation, and balance following a Reiki session. It is not necessary for the person to be physically present to benefit from Reiki.
Most of my Reiki these days is offered during BodyTalk Sessions, rather than as a stand-alone session.
